About.
I am an Assistant Professor and the Capstone Coordinator in our Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) program at ODU and hold an adjunct faculty position at Eastern Virginia Medical School.
I earned my OTD with a concentration in Orthopedics and Executive Leadership from St. Augustine in 2017. I became board certified in Hand Therapy earning my CHT in 2014, Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy, and Bachelors of Rehabilitation Science from the University of Pittsburgh. I have worked as an occupational therapy practitioner for 15 years in outpatient hand therapy and leadership for Sentara where I continue to do consulting work. I work as an Adjunct Professor and Capstone Mentor with the University of St. Augustine. I serve on the Leadership Board of the Virginia Occupational Therapy Education Council and am a member of The Occupational Therapists for Environmental Action Committee.

I collaborated with an innovative engineer and inventor to develop a wearable device that provides postural cueing, biomechanical data tracking, and home exercise compliance features for patients seeking to enhance their telehealth and virtual occupational therapy outcomes.
